Peace, for What?

When I want people to be changed in Christ, is it so that I can live more easily with them, or is it because I want them to know God? I’d say to my shame that most of the time it’s the latter.

But which is more important, for others to be at peace with you or for them to be at peace with God? First the latter, of course, in priority as well as in chronology. Only the latter can cause the former, while the former cannot produce the latter.
